In cooperation with the World Rowing Umpiring Commission a Rules Seminar was delivered by Kristopher Grudt & Angela Alonso Fernandez, both members of the Umpiring Commission, to the Development Programme participants to better equip them with the knowledge and information regarding racing rules and regulations.
This is an important educational pathway for development crews and coaches, whom for some, participation in the World Championships 2022 was their first international participation ever.
The seminar was also attended by World Rowing Executive Director, Vincent Gaillard, who welcomed the programme participants, stressing the importance of the solidarity and outreach of the World Rowing Development Programme and the support of the Umpiring Commission to deliver this session.
