World Rowing invites applications for the ASOIF Women Leadership Workshop

With the aim to sustain the acceleration of women’s meaningful representation in governance, leadership and decision-making bodies at national level, World Rowing is joining hands with the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), to identify  emerging female leaders within Rowing to attend the ASOIF Women Leadership Workshop. This opportunity is open to all female leaders but targets in particular former Olympians who have the potential to take on senior roles at national or international level, and/or those recently promoted or elected to such positions.

The current call for applications from Member Federations offers an opportunity for one Rowing representative to attend a three-day workshop in Lausanne, between Saturday 25th and Monday 27th October 2025, for enhanced training in leadership, communication, negotiation and campaigning, equipping participants with essential skills to navigate complex professional environments and assume greater responsibilities within their organisations.

Federations intending to submit a candidate may submit the application and CV through the form on the following link by Friday, 15 August: ASOIF Women Leadership Workshop Application Form

World Rowing will conduct a thorough review of all applications and will formally communicate the selection outcomes to all applicants by 5 September 2025.
